Summary (as published)This Order revokes the Wireless Telegraphy Act 2006 (Directions to OFCOM) Order 2010 (“2010 Order”), through which the Secretary of State gave a number of directions to the Office of Communications (“OFCOM”). The directions were to vary wireless telegraphy licences, to amend spectrum trading regulations to allow the trading of licences, to amend regulations setting charges for the grant of a licence and to make regulations to set the rules for an auction of licences to use frequencies. The purposes of the 2010 Order are served, and the 2010 Order is now redundant.
